A Busy Summer at PC Lettings
It’s been a bustling summer here at PC Lettings! We’ve been working hard to meet the growing demand for rental properties in the area.
🏡 Market Overview
The rental market remains strong and active. Over the past three months, we’ve successfully placed 66 new tenants—ranging from local residents to professionals relocating for roles at major employers like BAE Systems, Kimberly-Clark, The Royal Navy, and Furness General Hospital.
Demand is high, with most properties being let within the first week of marketing. At present, we have 24 properties available, including 5 new instructions.
📈 New Instructions & Landlords
In the last three months, we’ve welcomed 29 new instructions, with the majority choosing our fully managed service.
If you’re considering letting your property, we’d be delighted to offer a free valuation and appraisal. During the visit, we’ll provide guidance on how to maximise your rental income, explain your legal responsibilities, and outline our services and fees.

With the market moving quickly, we encourage prospective tenants to check our website regularly.
Be sure to visit our ‘Coming Soon’ section—this is where we list properties that will be available in the coming weeks or months, often before they appear on Rightmove or our main listings. While some may not be ready for viewings due to ongoing works, applications are welcome.
We recommend beginning your property search 4–5 weeks before your intended move-in date, as we can only hold properties for a limited time.

📜 Renters Reform Bill
We’re actively preparing for the introduction of the Renters Reform Bill, although the final details and implementation date remain uncertain. Current projections suggest it may come into effect in early 2026.
Key proposals include:
- All tenancies becoming assured periodic tenancies
- Introduction of new possession grounds for landlords
We’ll continue to monitor developments and keep our landlords informed.
🏢 Office Renovation News
Exciting changes are underway at PC Lettings! We’ve begun a full interior renovation of our office, which includes:
- A modern staff room with a new kitchen
- A dedicated meeting space for landlords and tenants
- Refurbishment of all office areas, including the main reception
Once the interior is complete, we’ll move on to the external renovation. We’re planning a launch event to celebrate—stay tuned!
